Moscow, May 28, 2025 — Representatives of the Turkish International Law & Consulting Firm, Pavel Chukavin and Inal Funda, took part in the 5th Anniversary International Forum “Russia–Turkey: Investment Cooperation”, held in Moscow at the invitation of the Russian-Turkish Dialogue Association. The event was supported by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (CCI of Russia), the Russian-Turkish Working Group under the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP), and the business publication Russian Business Guide.

A Strategic Platform for Bilateral Business Engagement

This landmark forum brought together over 200 participants from the public and private sectors of both countries — including government officials, corporate leaders, investment groups, regional representatives, and international associations. Key attendees included CCI of Russia, RSPP, VEB.RF, REC, the Turkish Embassy in Moscow, RTİB, the Russian Trade Mission in Turkey, and the heads of several Russian regions.

The agenda focused on:

  • Launch and development of joint investment projects;
  • Strengthening cooperation in industry, logistics, transport, and IT;
  • Legal and fiscal frameworks for cross-border business relocation;
  • Expanding Turkish business presence across Russian regions.

Legal Expertise in Focus

During the forum, Pavel Chukavin and Inal Funda held a series of B2B meetings with business leaders, investors, and institutional stakeholders. The Turkish International Law & Consulting Firm presented its key legal practices in the following areas:

  • Full legal support for cross-border investments between Russia and Turkey;
  • Strategic assistance with business and individual relocation to Turkey;
  • Legal representation in construction and commercial disputes;
  • Recognition and enforcement of foreign court rulings;
  • Advisory on investment-based citizenship and residence permits;
  • Regulatory compliance with Turkish KVKK law and Russian currency control rules.

“This forum offered a valuable platform for direct dialogue with industry leaders and the development of new cooperation models,” said Pavel Chukavin, Managing Partner of the Turkish International Law & Consulting Firm.

Inal Funda, Partner for International Projects, added: “Our involvement underscores our firm’s mission to facilitate effective legal infrastructure for bilateral economic activity in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.”
